How many emote slots do I get on Twitch?+
Affiliates get 5 emote slots (1 per tier). Partners get up to 60 slots (5 per subscriber point tier, plus extras for bits). You can upload different emotes for each tier.
Can Twitch emotes be animated?+
Yes! Animated emotes are available to Twitch Partners. Upload as animated GIF and Twitch will display the animation. Affiliates can use static emotes only, but you can create them here for when you reach Partner.
What file format should I use for Twitch emotes?+
Twitch accepts PNG (static) and GIF (animated) formats. File size must be under 1MB. This tool exports optimized GIFs that meet Twitch's requirements.
How do I upload emotes to my Twitch channel?+
