Regular servers get 50 static emoji slots. With Server Boost, you unlock more: Level 1 adds 50 animated slots, Level 2 adds 100 more (total 150), and Level 3 gives you 250 total emoji slots. Animated emojis require Boost Level 2 or higher.
Can Discord emojis be animated?+
Yes! Animated emojis work on Discord but require Server Boost Level 2 or higher to upload. Upload as animated GIF and Discord displays the animation. Nitro users can use animated emojis from any server, but non-Nitro users see them as static images.
