We built emojicreator.ai to be the fastest, simplest way to create custom emojis. We also built it to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, what we don’t, and why — in plain language, not legalese.

1. The Short Version

  • Your uploaded images are processed in memory and deleted immediately after. We do not store them.
  • We do not use your images or creations to train any AI models.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We use minimal cookies — only what’s needed to keep the site working.
  • You can use the core emoji creation tools without creating an account.

2. What We Collect

When you use the site without an account

  • Basic analytics data (page views, feature usage) via privacy-respecting analytics. No personal identifiers.
  • Temporary server logs (IP addresses) retained for up to 7 days for security and abuse prevention, then automatically deleted.

When you create an account

  • Email address (for login and transactional emails only).
  • Username or display name you choose.
  • Your saved emoji creations, if you choose to save them to your account.
  • Subscription and billing data, processed entirely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

When you upload images

This is the part people care most about, so we want to be crystal clear:

  • Images you upload are processed in real-time to generate your emoji.
  • Processing happens in memory on our servers. Images are not written to disk.
  • Once your emoji is generated and delivered to your browser, the uploaded image is gone from our systems.
  • We do not store, review, analyze, or use your uploaded images for any purpose beyond generating your emoji in that session.

3. What We Don’t Do

  • We do not train AI models on your images or creations.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.
  • We do not build advertising profiles based on your usage.
  • We do not share your email with marketing partners.
  • We do not use invasive tracking or fingerprinting techniques.
  • We do not retain your uploaded images after processing.

4. How We Use Your Information

The data we do collect is used to:

  • Provide and operate the emoji creation service.
  • Authenticate your account and manage your subscription (if you have one).
  • Send transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts). Never marketing spam.
  • Understand aggregate usage patterns (which features are popular, where people drop off) to improve the product.
